Viviana Durante Company creates innovative dance events for the widest possible audience, working in partnership with leading venues including the Barbican Centre and the Bolshoi Theatre.

Whether reviving the neglected early masterpieces of an eminent British choreographer, or staging an all-female celebration of a dance iconoclast who insisted on a woman's right to express herself physically on her own terms, our mission is to tell stories about dance that entertain, enlighten and move new audiences as well as lovers of our art form.

Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of what we do, and we prioritise working with emerging artists from multiple genres and reflecting our diverse society in our work. We embrace all strands of dance as well as perspectives from outside dance, firmly believing that they enrich each other and enhance the experience of practitioners and audiences alike.

Collaboration is our lifeblood and we are proud to work with exceptional partners including Ballet Black, Scottish Ballet and Farooq Chaudhry; choreographers Joy Alpuerto Ritter and Javier de Frutos; composer Lih Qun Wong; and dancers including Silvia Azzoni, Begoña Cao, Mbuelo Ndabeni, Thiago Soares, Francesca Hayward, Lauren Cuthbertson and Yasmine Naghdi.

Our productions have been honoured at the National Dance Awards and have reached international audiences through streaming and touring. Viviana Durante Company is a registered charity and every penny that we receive goes towards developing our future performances.
